There’s really nothing cooler than pop-up, warehouse, experiential art events, so from the 5-13 December Renew Adelaide is supporting 4 creatives to utilise the former Suzuki Showroom at 222 – 230 Waymouth St, Adelaide for a series of exhibitions & live performances. Typemasters Exhibition (5 & 6 December)
Direct from the Royal Academy of Art, The Hague, this exhibition of 24 of the best emerging typeface designers worldwide showcases what is Helvetica Neue in the font realm. Opening Night tickets (inc. drinks, nibbles & entertainment) are $10, book here. Free exhibition open 11am-4pm on 6 December.
Wonderland (10 – 12 December)
With 3 shows already sold out, The Human Arts Movement will take you through an intimate walk-through performance of Alice’s Wonderland where you will enjoy Mad Hatters Tea Parties and croquet games with The Queen. Tickets to one of twelve night time performances are $20, book here.
FinsART Aerial Dance (12 December)
Twirling and tumbling in the air, this aerial dance performance will have you spinning. Tickets are $20, book here.
Sparkspitter TECHNE (13 December)
Math-rock isn’t the name of the newest Wiggles album, but it is the genre of music of up-and-coming instrumental band, Sparkspitter who launch their new album with a sound and light spectacular. $15 tickets at the door (Veggie Velo & Mismatch Brewing also available on the night). More info here.
